At Penn State, there's an Irish-themed bar called the Phyrst that has a bar-wide drinking game every Saturday night: "Table Wars".

Basically, every table or section of the bar is assigned a number. Whenever a band's not playing, any table has the right to chant, "We are table number__, number __, number__! We are table number __, where the hell is table __?" Whichever table was named has to respond in kind, and things keep going until some table drops the ball. Obviously, at that point, the whole bar encourages (re: forces) them to finish their drinks.

It's a pretty simple game, but nothing beats the peer pressure of an entire bar bearing down on you.

Lol that sounds awesome! Might be kind of difficult to get the entire bar involved though.

And I'm sorry but Beer Pong is KING! If you think it's not, it's because you've never played like we do haha. If you've ever partied with th UT Hellraisers you know we take it very seriously! And it gets really fun when we decide to throw a random liquor cup in the mix(usually Jack).

Yeah, throwing liquor into the mix either amps things up considerably or leads to some extra clean-up.

I've been with people who've attempted power hours with liquor or wine...not good. Not good at all.

Yeah that could get pretty nasty :o

Every year the Hellraisers do something called Pukefest and the name is EXTREMELY appropriate. You write TEXAS LONGHORNS on your arms and every letter represents a different shot of liquor, and the last five letters are the big ones-- mixed shots like 4 Horseman and so forth. It's disgusting but damn is it fun hahah.

the 'ol whiskey pong huh?
It's not that I doubt the supremacy of a good game of pong at a party, I'm just looking for something new to play like my man julian suggested..

Ah fair enough. I stick to the classics(pong, flippy cup, asshole, kings) because we get VERY competitive so it's a lot of fun, and if I just wanted to get really fucked up games just get in the way ;-)

Yeah I'm great friends with Tyler and his twin brother is actually moving up here(SM) from Houston in August. I love their parties but I'm so spoiled by them because I'm used to every party being epic and crazy haha.

Anchor Man has always been my favorite...basically team quarters.

2 teams of 4 are needed. As well as 2 shot glasses, 2 pitchers, 2 Quarters and a lot of beer.

4 people sit on each side of the table and each side is a team. The first to go down the line and have each person bounce a quarter in the shot glass wins.

The "losers" then have to consume a pitcher of beer between the four of them. The last person is the "anchor man" and has to finish whatever is left in the pitcher after the first three people. This usually ends up with 3 bastards taking a sip and the anchor man having to polish the pitcher off

Sort of relevant. Someone at UT made a pretty sophisticated beer pong table and has been trying to sell it for months on craigslist.

Don't really do the hardcore drinking games personally.
